Are you stressed out at work?
Some of you might laugh at my question because you think it's a silly question and don't get stressed at work. Some of you might cry at my question because everyday is a stressful day. For the second group of you....here are some tips to help you de-stress at work.
Get Some Perspective- Whatever anxiety work causes you, it's not worth wrecking your health, family, or social life over.
Get the Facts- Job-related stress can affect your health, home life, and everyone around you. You have to learn to manage it.
Get Moving- Take a walk. Do breathing exercises. Do some stretches. Do ANYTHING to get yourself in motion.
Get Organized- Take some time to clean up your desk. Being organized will help you feel more efficient and less stressed.
Get Connected- Take the time to interact with people you enjoy talking to. Maybe that's a co-worker. Or you can always call a friend on your cell phone to chat and catch up.
